An Environment Canterbury ban on open fires and older woodburners is now in place.

If you’re a homeowner in Christchurch, with an open fire or woodburner, you have probably heard that the regulations have changed. The use of open fires and woodburners older than 15 years are banned from 1 April to 30 September each year.
